TP770E/ED - Top PCMCIA slot is not seen in Windows 95

SYMPTOM:
On some models (9548-510 and 9549-5A0), running the UK Windows 95 preload, the PCMCIA support have not been set up properly. When checking the PC Card Status either using CardWizard or by going to Start ==> Settings ==> Control Panel ==> PCMCIA, only 1 of the 2 PCMCIA slots is seen.

CONFIGURATION:
ThinkPad 770E/ED models 510 and 5A0 only. This does not affect any other model.

Solution:
The problem can be solved by one of the following procedures:
a) Reinstalling PCMCIA support


REM - by PCcard (PCMCIA wizard) - DEVICE=C:\CARDWORKS\CSALLOC.EXE
DEVICEHIGH=C:\CARDWORKS\CSALLOC.EXE

b) Reinstalling CardSoft CardWizard
