Aptiva - How to setup a TTY connection in Windows 95 or 98

To Setup Hyperterminal to Connect to a TTY:
1. Click Start | Programs | Accessories | HyperTerminal
2. Open the HyperTrm icon
3. For description, type your friend's name; choose any icon and then click OK
4. Enter the area code and phone number of your friend's TTY in the appropriate boxes
5. Click OK
6. Click the Modify button
7. Click the Settings tab.
8. Click the down-arrow in the "Emulation" section and choose TTY
9. Click OK
10. Click Dial and you should be connected.
In the future, to dial the same TTY, Click Start | Programs | Accessories | HyperTerminal. There should be an icon with the same name you type in step 3 above. Double-click on that icon.
