TP General - How to activate drivers using Windows 95 Device Manager

This document contains information on how to activate drivers using Device Manager.
First go to Device Manager:
1. Click on Start+Settings+Control Panel
2. Double click on System
3. Click on the Device Manager Tab
Enabling/Disabling a Device:
1. Find the category you wish to enable /disable
2. Open the main branch for that category by clicking on the + next.
- Example: +Floppy disk controllers
- When you click on the + you get the following device
- Standard Floppy Disk Controller
3. Double click on the device you want to disable (This will give you the properties for that device)
4. On the General Tab (default Tab) you can enable / disable the device with the check marks in the Device Usage box at the bottom.
- Windows 95 (First Release) Put the check mark in to enable and remove the check to disable this device.
- Windows 95 (OSR2) Put the check mark in to disable and remove the check to enable this device.
