Aptiva - How to restore FAXWORKS with voice from CD-ROM

Before you begin you need know that performing these steps will DELETE any faxes that you have received with FAXWORKS. You may want to PRINT out these faxes before you begin.
DELETING THE OLD FAXWORKS:
1) Close ALL Windows applications.
2) Go to the FILE MANAGER.
3) Find the FAXWORKS directory in the left-hand window and single-click on it so the name is highlighted.
4) Press the DELETE key on the keyboard, confirm the deletion, and then answer YES TO ALL to remove everything.
RESTORING FAXWORKS FROM CD:
Create the following directories by using the CREATE DIRECTORY option under the [FILE] menu for each one. Make sure you have C:\ (or the root directory) highlighted in the left-hand window. The directories you need to create are as follows:
C:\FAXWORKS
C:\FAXWORKS\FOD
C:\FAXWORKS\GREETING
C:\FAXWORKS\VOICENEW
C:\FAXWORKS\VOICEOLD
C:\FAXWORKS\SOUNDS
C:\FAXWORKS\SEND
C:\FAXWORKS\RECEIVE
C:\FAXWORKS\QUEUEOUT
C:\FAXWORKS\QUEUEIN
C:\FAXWORKS\GRAPHICS
Now you are ready to restore the software from the APTIVA DISCOVERY CD-ROM. Place this CD-ROM in the CD drive.
1) Exit FILE MANAGER, exit Windows, and go to the DOS prompt.
2) Change to the E:\RECOVERY directory.
3) Issue the following command: (The "_" symbol is a <space> and E: represents the CD-ROM. If your CD-ROM drive letter is different, replace E: with its drive letter.)
PKUNZIP_-O_-D_E:\RECOVERY\US\*.*_FAXWORKS\*.*_C:\
4) Wait for the system to stop extracting files and return to the DOS prompt.
5) Issue the following command from the DOS prompt:
PKUNZIP_-O_-D_E:\RECOVERY\US\*.*_WINDOWS\FAX*.*_C:\
6) Wait for the system to stop extracting files and return to the DOS prompt.
7) Restart the computer by pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE.
8) When Windows starts, choose the [FILE] menu from the PROGRAM MANAGER. Choose NEW.
9) Choose PROGRAM GROUP, and click on OK.
10) In the DESCRIPTION box, type FAXWORKS. In the GROUP FILE, type FAXWORKS.GRP.
11) You should now have the FAXWORKS group and ALL the icons needed to RUN the FAXWORKS with VOICE software. Click on the CALL CENTER icon to start.
