Aptiva - Ctrl+Alt+Page Down and Ctrl+Alt+Page Up don't work on

Symptom:
When trying to use the hot key combinatoin of ctrl+alt+page down or ctrl+alt+page up; my word processor doesn't respond.
In addition to this, the next .wav file played locks the computer with an error message (fatal exception error, or illegal operation).
Solution:
The IBM supported Crystal audio drivers are not compatible with the above mentioned key combinations.
Refrain from using ctrl+alt+page down or ctrl+alt+page up on machines preinstalled with Crystal Audio.
If ctrl+alt+page down or ctrl+alt+page up are used, the computer must be rebooted to correct the error.
