OVERVIEW
The BIOS/firmware update Version 2.4 required to support the ServeRAID II Ultra SCSI Adapter in IBM(R) Low-Cost Hardware RAID Shared-Disk Cluster configurations now has a planned availability date of February 27, 1998. This update provides the high-availability function for the ServeRAID II Ultra SCSI Adapter used in these configurations running with Microsoft Cluster Server (MSCS).
For more information about the Low-Cost Hardware RAID Shared-Disk Cluster configurations and the BIOS/firmware update, refer to Hardware Announcement 197-260 (RFA29135) dated September 23, 1997. The BIOS/firmware update Version 2.4 will now be available for downloading over the World Wide Web on February 27, 1998, by entering: http://www.us.pc.ibm.com/server/ldm.html
