PCMCIA 14.4 FAX Modem - Country Configuration Fix (EMEA Only)
Applicable to: EMEA
Symptom:
Some PCMCIA Fax Modem cards P/N 08H3440 may be configured for UK operation only. All cards upgraded to be fully configured for all countries.
Problem Isolation Aids:
None.
Fix:
Fix is available to upgrade these modems by using the following utility program (attached).
Installation Procedure:
Invoke the SETAUTO.BAT Program after copying the required file (SET - ACR ZIPBIN ) onto the hard disk from DOS. Above method is recommended. This procedure should take approx. 30 seconds.
PCMCIA Modem should now be operable for ALL countries. Please note that the reference file is available from Pat Mccluskey in Greenock ( PMCCLUSK at GNKVM )
