TP General - Keyboard does not function after installing TrackPoint drivers under Windows NT

SYMPTOM:
After installing the TrackPoint drivers, and then rebooting as instructed, the keyboard no longer functions.
CONFIGURATION:
This may occur on any ThinkPad equipped with the TrackPoint device with Windows NT installed.
SOLUTION:
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Installing the TrackPoint drivers in Windows NT does not always produce this issue.
