PS/1 - Problem Running LotusV2.4 for DOS
Applicable to: EMEA
Symptom
PS/1 Model 2133-144 loads Lotus 123 V2.4 OK but when number are typed they appear on the screen as ~ (tilde).
Problem Isolation Aids:
None
Fix:
The reason is that when Lotus is invoked it recognizes the 486 processor but its default is set for 486DX and not 486SX. (486SX does not have a math co-processor) Use the command 123-s to invoke Lotus 123. This switches off the math co-processor.
