TP General - Win3.1 error when installing more than 256 MB of memory

SYMPTOM:
System gives the following error when booting Win3.1:
PageOverCommit parameter in the SYSTEM.INI should be less than 4.....
CONFIGURATION:
Any Thinkpad running Win3.1 which has more than 256 MB of memory installed.
Note: All Thinkpads may not support more than 256 MB of memory or the DIMM types necessary to acheive that amount.
SOLUTION:
Add the following line to the system.ini file:
PageOverCommit = 3
Save the corrected system.ini file and reboot the system. The error should now disappear.
