Aptiva - 2134/2176/2159 Format and reload instructions

Warning!
Performing the following steps will erase all software on the computer.
You will also need your Microsoft Licensing Agreement Number which is inside the folder with all other CD's.
1) Insert the Aptiva Recovery CD into the CD ROM Drive
2) Shutdown the computer by:
Click on START.
Click on SHUTDOWN.
Click on RESTART THE COMPUTER.
Click on YES.
3) Hit the ENTER key.
4) Type the letter 'Y' and hit ENTER.
5) Type the letter 'Y' and hit ENTER again.
6) Type the letter 'Y' and hit ENTER again.
The software will reload onto your machine. This will take approximately 45 minutes. The computer may be left un-attended.
