Aptiva - 2158/2163/2164 Considerations - IGN icon on desktop after uninstall

Description:
After uninstalling " IGN" with the Aptiva Installer, the IGN icon is still on the desktop.
Models affected:
2158, 2163, and 2164
system components (IGN)
How to duplicate:
1. Go to Aptiva installer
2. Select IGN and uninstall it
3 Go to desktop, the IGN icon was not removed.
Root cause:
To be consistent with the others Online Services, the build created a pif files to add/remove Netscape and IGN icons from desktop and Online Services folder.
Since every time IGN/Netscape are installed/removed, you are asked to restart the machine the pif files can not be executed and this
is why after uninstall IGN the deling.pif file is not executed and the icon can not be deleted.
If After uninstall IGN, you select to restart the computer, then the delign.pif in aiw.reg will not be executed.
This is why the icon still in desktop.
Workaround:
Remove the desktop icon by hand:
- Select the IGN icon
- Right click on it
- Select delete
The icon will be removed.
