Aptiva - Drivers not Windows 95 Compatible error in MechWarrior 2

Problem
Error message "drivers are not Windows '95 compatible - Error #2, Direct Draw, Must use Windows '95 compatible drivers." is caused by incorrect settings in the SYSTEM.INI file. The likely cause is running the COSESSION Software incorrectly (usually through expermentation.)
Solution
1) Click on START.
2) Click on RUN.
3) Type SYSTEM.INI and hit the ENTER key.
4) Click on EDIT on the menu bar.
5) Click on FIND.
6) Type in: C:\CSW6B6\csldr.386
7) Move the cursor to the beginning of the line. Put a semi-colon (;) at the beginning of the line like this:

then reboot the computer. The problem will go away.
