PS/1 - Creating Backup for Fixed Disk for the PS/1 Model 2123

The procedure to backup the fixed disk of the PS/1 2123 follows below:
1) Load the IBM DOS 5.0 DOS Shell. If you are not sure how to start the DOS Shell, you can type the following command at the DOS prompt and press Enter:
DOSSHELL
2) From the DOS Shell, select the DISK UTILITIES menu option from the bottom half of the screen.
3) From the DISK UTILITIES menu, select BACKUP FIXED DISK.
4) You can choose the HELP option if you need more information on backup parameters. Otherwise, you can select OK to begin the backup procedure.
NOTE: Be sure to have blank 3.5" 2.0MB diskettes available for the backup procedure. Label these diskettes appropriately as you are prompted through this process.
