Aptiva - Reinstalling Microsoft Works 4.0

2144/2168 systems:
It is not possible to delete and reload MS-Works 4.0 and retain the program's functionality. Neither is it possible to reload MS-Works if you use the Uninstall feature of Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel. The only acceptable solution is to reload (Fdisk, Format, Reload) the original Aptiva software.
2134/2176/2159 systems:
To reinstall Microsoft Works, use the APTRSTOR program to restore the WORKS40 directory. After the directory has been restored, click on the Start menu of Windows 95 and choose Run. Type: C:\WORKS40\SETUP\SETUP.EXE and press [Enter]. This will install the Works program. You will need the Certificate of Authenticity (COA) for Microsoft Works. The COA is shrinkwrapped to the Works Companion flyer that came with your system.
2161/2162 systems:
To reinstall Microsoft Works, open the Aptiva Installer and click on the Installed Programs tab. Click on Microsoft Works, and then on Reinstall.
