Aptiva - 2144 Voice Recognition tips

What are some Voice Recognition tips on my Aptiva 2144-16P/66P/67P/86P?
Answer:
The Voice recognition Reference Card recommends the following tips:
1. Emphasize the first syllable of each command for better recognition.
2. You must launch each program from the Program Manager.
3. You can use the Global Vocabulary commands in any program.
4. Say "CANCEL" if you get stuck and do not know what to say.
5. Press the Ctrl and Alt keys simultaneously to switch the microphone on and off.
6. Say the commands "Go to sleep" and "Wake up" to temporarily switch the microphone on and off.
7. Say "Switch to" or "Program Manager" in any program, then say the program name that you want to go to.
8. Say "Active words list" to turn on and off the display of the Active Words window. Click on Program Manager to move the cursor out of the Active Words window.
9. Watch the Voice Pilot icon at the bottom of your screen to see if your command was recognized correctly.
10. If a command was not heard or did not execute properly, say the command again.
