The return code 3 means that the install program cannot correctly interpret the fixed disk partition table. This error condition is very rare. If you encounter this error code, please post a message in our online support message boards at http://www.pc.ibm.com/support. This message will only occur if you are installing to a new fixed disk or reinstalling your IBM PS/1 Computer software.
