Aptiva - 2163/2164 Considerations - CDCOMP causes "System memory is very low" message

Description:
CDCOMP Causes "System Memory is Very Low" message.

Models affected:
2163, 2164

How to duplicate:
Run CDCOMP test software, using CDRAND as the test CD. Within 12 hours, the system will return a blue screen with the message, "System Memory is very low. Norton Anti-virus may not be able to run." The CDCOMP.TXT error file has this message: "TEMP\RAND2.DAT is longer than G:RAND2.DAT" (or some other file). If Norton Anti-virus is disabled, the error message is "System is either busy or unstable".

Root cause:
Unknown. Suspect test case limitation. This issue was closed as limitation in V66XA. Please refer V66XA bug J169 and J170.

Workaround:
System reboot
