Aptiva-PS/1 - Renaming and copying a file simultaneously in File Manager
Applicable to: World-Wide
To create a duplicate of a file and assign the duplicate a different name, follow these steps:
1. In File Manager highlight the file to be copied and renamed.
2. From the File menu choose Copy. As a shortcut for choosing Copy, press <F8.>
3. In the 'To' box type the new path and filename.
4. Choose Copy.
Windows simultaneously copies the file to the location specified and gives it the new name.
