TP General - Screw Kit FRU's

A new range of FRU Screw Kits have been released for various Thinkpad Models. These new Screw Kits contain Nylock screws where the thread of the screws have been coated with Nylon to ensure that the appropriate screw torque is maintained for the life of the product.

It is recommened that when any of the following TP systems are being repaired at any repair / service centre that the new screws be used as part of the repair process.

The new Screws Kits are available for the following machine types :
