Aptiva - No dial tone in CompuServe

Service Information:
If you cannot get your Mwave to produce a dial tone, please try the following steps.

1. Select "Aptiva Productivity" and then "IBM Info SuperHighway".
2. Click/select "CONTINUE".
3. At top of screen, select "SPECIAL, then SESSION SETTINGS".
4. Select "MODEM".
5. In the box labeled "Initialize..." insert "X3" between "D2 and M".
6. Click "OK, then CANCEL".
7. Close CIM.
