Aptiva - How to install / uninstall Torin's Passage
Applicable to: United States
To install Torin's Passage on an Aptiva:
1. From Windows 95 Start Menu, click on the Aptiva Installer icon.
2. Insert the Torin's Passage CD into the CD-ROM drive and wait for the drive light to go on and then off.
3. Click on the "find install program" button if the application was not installed previously. Or, if installed previously, select the "show uninstalled programs" tab.
4. Single-click on the Torin's Passage icon to highlight it.
5. Click on install. The Sierra online setup main menu comes on.
6. Click on install.
7. Click on yes for system test.
8. Click on yes again if a voice is heard.
9. Click on continue when the system test results screen displays.
10. Click on yes for the destination directory C:\SIERRA\TORIN.
11. Choose a language ( English, French, or German) and click on OK.
12. Click on OK at the installation complete screen.
13. The main menu comes back up again.
14. Click exit to leave setup.
To uninstall Torin's Passage from an Aptiva:
1. From Windows 95 Start Menu, click on the Aptiva Installer icon.
2. Place the Torin's Passage CD into the CD-ROM drive and wait for the drive light to go on and then off.
3. Click on the "show installed programs" tab.
4. Single-click on the Torin's Passage icon to highlight it.
5. Click on uninstall.
6. Choose Torin's Passage from the Sierra product list.
7. Click on OK.
8. Click on yes to confirm uninstall.
9. Click on OK when the uninstall is complete.
If there are no other Sierra programs on your Aptiva, you will get a screen saying all products removed. Click on OK.
