TP 755CD/CE - Chinese Windows

Symptom:
Install Microsoft Chinese Windows in ThinkPad 755CD, and found that it is only working in the resolution of 800x600 or 640x480 (i.e. colours for 32K or 64K) but not for the 1024x768 (i.e. 256 colours). If changed resolution to 256 colours there will have the "memory conflict error". ( One can change resolution in ThinkPad 755CD/CE under Display).
Problem Isolation Aid:
None
Fix:
It is okay to install the Chinese Windows in a "clean" Thinkpad with 1024x768 resolution when connecting to the external monitor. Here "clean" means the ThinkPad without the Mwave installed. However, if Mwave and Utility Features installed, to make it work one has to add D=96 at the end of the EMM386.EXE statement.
