How do I get my mouse to work in MS-DOS mode on my Ambra?

Answer:
Follow the steps below.

1. For this operation you will need to download the file PS2MOUSE.EXE

Once you have the file on your computer open a DOS prompt.

Insert a blank 3.5" high density diskette into drive A and type "Format A:" and press Enter.

When the disk is formatted it will ask you for a volume label. Press Enter to continue.

Next from the C:\ prompt, type "PS2MOUSE A:" and press Enter.

This will create the installable disk with the mouse driver file on it.

Once the disk is created, type in A: and press Enter.

From the A:> prompt, type the number 1 then press Enter.

This will copy the files for the mouse when you press Enter.

When back at the A:> prompt, type "C:" and press Enter.

Remove the diskette.

Restart the computer.

Now when you want to use the mouse in DOS, you restart the computer in MS-DOS mode.

Then at the C:\WINDOWS> prompt type "CD \" then press Enter.

You will now be at the C:> prompt.

Type in mouse and press Enter. You now have a mouse in MS-DOS mode.
