TP 600E, 770X/Z - Video driver installation leave system in VGA mode with Windows NT

SYMPTOM:
After installing the Video Features diskette, the system continues to reboot in VGA mode.
CONFIGURATION:
ThinkPad 600E, 770X with Windows NT 4.0
WORKAROUND:
First install the ThinkPad configuration program and set the Video display to Presentation Mode, then install the Video Features diskette.
OR
Install Fix Pack 3 or later, then install the Video Features Diskette
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
If you install the Video Features Diskette and have the higher resolutions, then install Fix Pack 3 or later, you system will be reset to VGA mode. Reinstall the Video Features Diskette to get back to the higher resolutions.
