Installation Guide
(For Windows 3.1)
1. Start Windows 3.1.
2. Open CONFIG.SYS file.
3. Confirm that following statements are in the CONFIG.SYS file.
Device=[Path\]EMM386.EXE RAM /V
If there is not these statements, update the CONFIG.SYS file and restart the computer.
4. Insert the Modem Driver Diskette for Windows 3.1 into the diskette drive.
5. Click on "File" in Program Manager. Then click on "Run...".
6. Type "A:\INSTALL" and click on "OK".
7. Follow the instructions on the screen.
Note:
Before driver installation, you might need to use BIOS Setup Utility and need to confirm that the second interrupt of embedded modem has been assigned and does not conflict with other devices. You may need to temporarily disable one device which you are not going to use if no spare IRQ is available, for example, the Serial Port, Parallel Port or Infra Red.
