TP 755 - Enhanced models hang on installation of Windows 3.x and 95

SYMPTOM:
The installation of Windows hangs on disk 1 or 2 of installation or if TrackPoint is touched.
CONFIGURATION:
This occurs on ThinkPad 755 models CD/CE/CSE/CDV/CV/CX . This is known to effect Windows 3.X and Windows 95
SOLUTION:
This is a Mouse driver conflict. Install DOS Mouse driver in memory prior to installation of Windows or boot into Easy Setup and disable TrackPointon ThinkPad
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The DOS mouse driver only needs to be in memory, and may be installed from diskette if necessary.
As an alternative, the trackpoint could be disabled. This could effect any upgrade or the full installation of windows.
A copy of a DOS Mouse driver can be obtained from mouse 700.zip on IBM BBS. That file is currently located in the OS/2 Utilities directory of the BBS.
