Express Maintenance Warranty Service

Service will be provided by 9:00 AM on the next business day if the call is received prior to 3:00 PM EST and the area the customer is in qualifies for Purolator Daystarter Service. Otherwise, service will be provided by mid-afternoon on the second business day. (Subject to part/unit availability.)

During the first year of Warranty, IBM pays all shipping costs. The customer is required to pay shipping and labour costs during the second and third year of Warranty.

If the customer wishes to receive his replacement on Saturday there will be a $25.00 charge.

There is no Express service on Statutory Holidays.

Hardware technical support is provided during the hardware's Warranty period.

If a phone fix is determined by the HelpCenter, IBM reserves the right not to send a replacement FRU/CRU if that is the best solution.

Warranty is valid in Canada.

Note:

Customers are responsible for removing all personal software, added options, etc. prior to sending a unit in for repair or when sending back a unit for a replacement system.
