Aptiva - Scandisk running after boot on 2153 systems

Symptom:
Scandisk runs when the system boots, even after a clean Shut Down.
Solution:
Download and install the latest BIOS and ALi IDE/AGP drivers for Aptiva 2153 systems.

ALi drivers -
Reason:
The ALI 2.9 drivers are sometimes unable to clear the drive cache before Windows 98 shuts down the computer. This may sometimes result in crosslinked files and/or errors in Windows 98 system files.
