TP General - How to determine if your system is using MS-DOS compatibility mode under Windows 95

How to check for MS-DOS Compatibility Mode under Windows 95.

1. Start Windows 95.
2. Double click on the My Computer icon.
3. Double click on the Control Panel icon.
4. Double click on the System icon.
5. Click on the Performance tab at the top.
6. Look at the list and if a device is running in MS-DOS compatibility mode then it will be indicated here.

When a device states that it is running in MS-DOS Compatibility Mode is does not necessarily mean there is a problem. It simply means that Windows 95 is not using Windows 95 drivers for that device.
