TP 600E,770X/Z - Volume of DVD movie is low
Applicable to: World-Wide
Symptom:
DVD movie volume is low.
Configuration:
770X, 600E, and i Series 1721, with Mediamatics DVDExpress player.
Check wave audio is at maximum setting.
1) Single-Click on the Speaker Icon on the menu bar.
2) Slide the volume control to the maximum setting.
3) Double-Click on the Speaker Icon on the menu bar. This should launch a program called "Master Out".
4) Slide the volume control for "Wave" to the maximum setting.
Solution:
Obtain and apply the registry patch ac3rf.reg from the Mobiles Private area on the FTP server. Contact the IBM HelpCenter in your area for information on obtaining this patch.
