PS/1-Aptiva - How to delete a file from Works for Windows
Applicable to: World-Wide
Works for Windows does not have a delete function. Therefore, you need to use the Windows File Manager. Follow the steps below to delete a file created in Works for Windows:
1. Minimize the Works for Windows program.
2. From the Main Group, select File Manager.
3. Locate the MSWORKS subdirectory listed in the left hand window. Double-click on this subdirectory.
4. Locate the file you want to delete from the right hand window. If you do not see the file after scrolling through them, try a subdirectory under MSWORKS that you may have saved the file to. Click once on the file that you want to delete.
5. Select FILE from the menu bar at the top.
6. Select DELETE from the File menu.
NOTE: Make sure that the proper file is selected before confirming to delete it!
