G Series Monitors - Disabling DDC

Question:
How can DDC (Display Data Channel) be disabled on IBM G42, G52 and G72 monitors?
Answer:
Install the signal cable connector (dongle) (p/n 96g2693) between the the monitor signal cable connector and the system
monitor port.
Note: The dongle will disable DDC on any IBM monitor. It physically disconnects the DDC pins in the connector, making it look like an 8514 monitor.
