Hardware Requirements for Non-IBM systems:
Operates in systems with Personal Computer Memory Card International Association (PCMCIA) Release 2.0 Type II or Type III slots.
Supported Operating Systems:
- DOS versions 5.0, 6.x, 7.0
- Microsoft Windows versions 3.0, 3.1, 3.11
- OS/2 versions 2.0, 2.1, 2.11
- OS/2 Warp versions 3, 4
Limitations:
- The operation of the IBM 5250 Emulation PCMCIA Adapter with other IBM 5250 Emulation Family adapters in the same machine is not supported.
- The IBM 5250 Emulation PCMCIA Adapter is not designed to operate on medialess systems.
- The IBM 5250 Emulation PCMCIA Adapter, when used with the available IBM 5250 terminal emulation programs, does not support Hot Plugging (Hot Insertion).
- With the ThinkPad 770, only PersComm 4.2 is supported under Windows 95.
