Aptiva - Faxworks Pro 3.0D does not function or recognize Mwave modem properly

Symptom:
FaxWorks Pro 3.0D does not work correctly on 2144-Mxx or 2168-Mxx Aptiva machines. It's scan incorrectly identifies the Mwave as a CAS modem.
Fix:
To fix this problem, please use the below steps.
1. Go to a DOS Prompt.
2. At 'C' prompt, type 'edit autoexec.bat'. This will bring up editor showing contents of autoexec.bat file.
3. Find the line 'C:\LAUNCHPD\KIDSTSR.COM'. Put a REM in front of this line. The line should look like this:
REM C:\LAUNCHPD\KIDSTSR.COM
4. Then Edit the Faxworks.ini file. This is in the Window's Directory. Example: "Edit c:\windows\faxworks.ini"
5. Find the line 'Priority Fax=1', change to 'Priority Fax=0'.
6. Restart your computer.
