28.8Kbps International Data/Fax Modem - Configuring the modem for different countries
Applicable to: World-Wide
Problem:
On a ThinkPad 560 system preloaded with Windows 95 OSR2, after choosing a country setting for the 28.8Kbps International Data/FAX modem (part number 75H8800), it seems to loose the country setting that was selected when you turn it off.
Resolution:
The system will default to the country it was initially programmed to during the modem installation. If you want to configure the modem for a different country, you need to re-install the sofware for the country you wish to use.
