Aptiva - How to install / uninstall Aptiva Communication Center
Applicable to: United States
To remove the Aptiva Communication Center from your Aptiva:
1. Double click on the Aptiva Installer icon
2. Click on the Show Installed Programs tab and highlight the Aptiva Communication Center
3. Click on uninstall
To reinstall \ install Aptiva Communication Center:
1. Double click on the Aptiva Installer icon
2. Click on the Show Uninstalled Programs tab and highlight Aptiva Communication Center
3. Insert the 'Aptiva Diagnostics and Utilities CD-ROM'
4. Click on install
5. In the setup program, choose the default setup options (i.e. the 'Next', 'Finish', or 'OK' button)
6. When prompted to restart the computer, remove the CD before clicking 'OK'
NOTE: You may notice that the 'Aptiva Communication Center' now appears under 'Programs' in the Start Menu rather than under 'Aptiva Productivity'. This is normal and is working as designed.
