UMS and InfoExplorer Database Problems

Environment

OS Level: AIX 4.1-4.2

Problem

You experience problems using the man command and accessing the information database.

Solution

The following APARs fix the problem.

• AIX 4.1 - APARs IX60563 and IX62598
• AIX 4.2 - APARs IX61013 and IX58183 (4.2.1 MAINTENANCE LEVEL)

Install the InfoExplorer database that corresponds to the licensed program product (UMS 2.1.5).

Starting with this latest release, access the InfoExplorer database by entering the following:

	info -l <database>
	info -l ulti
