    1. If database corruption is suspected, clear out the OV databases 
       via smit:

       smit nv6000
          maintain
             Clear databases
               Openview Databases

    2. If the gateway or routers can not be discovered order U433539
       o problem with the seed file was fixed in U431608     
       o demand poll problem fixed in U431608.         

    3. Map errors can be sometimes be corrected by issuing:                       
          ovw -fields
          ovw -config
          ovw -verify
