Trapgend and GTDM will not start

Question: NetView demons not starting


   Env: NetView/6000 V2r1
   Desc: The problems was that several daemons 
   Action: Do the following to Resolve:

        1). Stop all daemons (smit or ovstop)
        2). nettl -stop         stop logging of daemons
        3). ps -ef | grep ov

                kill any netview daemons that are owned by init

        4). ps -ef | grep OV

                kill and netview daemons that are owned by init

        5). ps -ef | grep gtm

                kill any instances of gtmd that are owned by init

        6). Start nv6000       /* it is best to start it in an
                                /* aixterm so the error messages
                                /* will show

        This solved the problem
