Desc:
  When the customer tries to do a remote backup in
  smit, it is stripping off the domain name, leaving
  just the hostname.  

Action:

  This is a problem in smit since it will only allow some
  many chars per field.  Sysback needs to have a 
  hostname, device name and description in a very limited 
  space.  Workarounds:

  1.  create a short alias for the host in the hosts file

  2.  Run the commands from the command line
