       SdU.sfs and SdU.vsam at v 1.1.0.2 or latter 
    d) IBM ENCINA v2.1.0 or latter

 2) You should have the following manuals:

    a) IBM COBOL SET for AIX Programming Guide - SC26-8423-00
    b) IBM COBOL SET for AIX Language Reference- SC26-4769-01
    c) Vsam in a Distributed Environment       - SC26-7064-00

 3) Read the following:

    a) Chapter 2 in Vsam in a Distrubuted Environment - this
       covers the SFS Adaptor.
    b) /usr/lpp/SdU/sfs/lib/README - contains information about
       setting up the environment and compiling programs.
