Question:

Env:
  AIX 4.2.1
  sysback 4.1.1.3
  RISC F40

Problem:
  Customer runs this command and gets this message:

  Kernel type "mp" is invalid or support for this kernel
is not installed!

And it made a non-booted tape

Action Taken:
  I had the customer run the command this way:
  sysback -xf /dev/rmt0 -k mp -T rspc datavg
  Stilled failed

  I had the customer put sysback 4.1.1.4
  Stilled failed

I noticed the customer does not have devices.rspc.base.rte
installed on the system.  This contains all of the proto files
for the tape drive, network devices and other devices
I had the cusotmer install that fileset.
That corrected the problem

Action Plan:
  Closing with customer approval
