Getting errors in smit using sysback

Env:
  AIX 4.2
  sysback 4.1.1.7
  RISC 59H
  Tape 8mm 5gb

Customer Rep:  Chester Martel

Problem:
  The customer is getting these errors below, because he does
  not have /usr/sbin in his PATH

Full System Backup
------------------
smitty sysback
   Backup Options
     Backup the System (Installation Image)

        1800-109 There are currently no additional 
        SMIT screen entries available for this      
        item.  This item may require installation of    
        additional software before it can be accessed.

Volume Group Backup
-------------------
smitty sysback
   Backup Options
     Backup Volume Groups

 ksh: getlvminfo:  not found.

Filesystem Backup
-----------------
smitty sysback
   Backup Options
     Backup Filesystems
      
     ksh[3]: lsjfs:  not found.     

Once I set the PATH correctly it fixed the problem
export $PATH/usr/sbin:
