Problems with NV Backup command

Question:

Selecting 'Administer->Backup->Backup Configuration' in NetView
for AIX.  Nothing ever happens.

Response:

Be sure the command /usr/OV/bin/backup is running.       If not start
it.

Is the backup command is running, issue the command
 'netfmt -f nettl.LOG00  | grep backup'

A common problem is with nameservice.  If you have changed the
hostname or IP address of the NV for AIX system, you will see an error
such as the following

backup: cannot find this node's 'nelsonr.aix.dfw.ibm.com' OVwObjectId

Correct the nameservice problem to clear the error.
