Will Shielded Twisted pair meet Fiber Standards

Question: 
Is IBM FDDI TP-PMD Compliant for the Copper Interface.
The book says the Fiber Interface is, however it mentions 
nothing about Copper. 

Response:
It turns out that TP-PMD is a Fibre standard only and means nothing to 
copper interface specs. IBM's CDDI approach uses Sheilded Twisted Pair 
which follows a spec called MLT3.
