QUESTION:
My customer is going to be testing DB2 on an RS/6000. As part of the
test, they want to be able to use their printers that are currently
on their MVS system. Long range, we will migrate the printers to
the RS/6000 using PSF/6000, but short term, we would like to send print
data from the RS/6000 to the JES spool. Do you know if this is possible
and if so, what would be involved? Once the data is on the JES spool
destined for the correct output class, PSF/MVS will print it as they
do today.

A: Yes this is possible. There are several OEM vendor that provided
products that support RJE. I am assuming you are using SNA on the
host system.
