1. Description of MSDBEDIT.

MSDBEDIT is an alternative VCL component for the standard DBEDIT that is
installed as part of Delphi. It includes all of the features,
properties, methods and events of the original and ADDs the ability to
specify different fonts via properties to indicate whether the contents
of the edit box have been modified or when it has been made read-only.
For example, if you set the 'ChangedFont' property to a RED color,
then whenever the user modifies the contents of that control the text
displayed will change to the RED font providing immediate visual feedback
that the contents of that field were changed. When the contents are
'posted' or 'canceled' the font is returned to it's normal (original) font.

No coding is required. The changes are automatic based on the properties
you have set at design time.

The 'Evaluation' version is a FULLY functional copy, however it will
display a message box if Delphi is not running. The 'registered' version
does not display this message.

What to do if a problem occurs when the palette is recompiled.

The most likely causes of problems are:

1. Installation path names are too long;
this is reported as DCU file not found.

Try moving files to different directories or remove some other
   components.

2. There is not enough space on your hard disk.

Delete some files and try again. The free space in
the \DELPHI\BIN directory should be at least
twice as large as your existing COMPLIB.DCL file.

3. A file required for a component was not found.

Check that all files were installed, or re-install
   from the original SETUP.EXE.
