        The aliens are comming...

Well, it's those pesky aliens again! But, hey, you know what
to do, right? So...strap on your garter belts, set phasers
on "disintegrate", gird up thy loins, and prepare thyself for
total carnage! I love it! Yeah! Bonus ship awarded at 100K,
        300K, 500K, 1M, 2M, 3M, etc.

        Starting The Game

Turn on your computer. Insert the disk in drive A or B.
Log the drive which contains the disk. Type INTRUDER and
press the <enter> key. The program should load within 60
        to 90 seconds.

        Game Hints

Well, what can I tell ya? The object of the game is to score
as much points as possible. So, obviously, it pays to go
after as many saucers as possible during a given wave.
Destroy aliens by columns, rather than by rows, this way the
aliens take longer to move across the screen, giving you more
time to go after saucers. You should eventually end up with
one alien, preferably the top-most one. Try to keep that one
alien alive while going after saucers, but don't let the alien
get too low. If the aliens land then it's game over. It is
possible to play indefinitely, but I wouldn't count on this.
My highest score is a little shy of 2 million points. Keep
in mind that you can have only 16 missles on the screen at
any given time, so use them wisely -- don't waste 'em.

        Optimizations

For best results unload all TSRs and don't use a memory
manager. By the way, a TSR is a Terminate and Stay Resident
        program (a.k.a. Memory Resident programs).

        Troubleshooting

If you get an error message or INTRUDER doesn't start, try
this: format a floppy using FORMAT A:/S then re-boot your
system using this newly formatted floppy. Now try starting
INTRUDER. If this doesn't work then you probably have a bad
        copy of the program.
