                              Tic V 1.2

                            (it's a riddle)

                          Windows Screen Saver

Tic is a Windows Screen Saver. It seems not to be obvious what
the moving blocks are for. So, take it as a riddle to find out.
If you guess what it is, it may be useful.

This version of Tic is designed for Windows 3.1+ and WFW 3.x.
Some features don't work properly with Windows 95 and Windows NT.
If you want to run Tic under Windows 95 or Windows NT please look
for the separate 32 bit version (tic32.zip).

The complete Tic archive should contain the following files:
          FILE_ID.DIZ short description
          LICENSE.TXT licensing terms
          README.TXT this file
          REGISTER.TXT registration form
          TIC.SCR the screen saver module

3. Short Introduction
---------------------

Tic is a Screen Saver for Windows (16 bit executable).

There are a lot of possible settings to adjust the display. Most
of them deal with the form, speed, color, size and distance of the
moving blocks.

"Fine tuning" does not just change the display, but may correct
systematic deviations of the system component related to the riddle.
If you are using Tic/Tic32 in different environments on the same
computer (e.g. Windows 3.1 and Windows NT), you should enable
"fine tuning" only once.

In this Shareware release, there is no help document.
So: Try and find out !

If you register (see REGISTER.TXT), you will get a short manual
which also solves the riddle.
